3. Members of other Catholic Parishes, which are part of the Archdiocese of Denver.
4. Catholics transferring into the Denver metro area whose children are currently enrolled in a Catholic School or whose children have attended a Catholic school within the last calendar year and have a letter of recommendation from that school principal and a letter of good standing from their pastor. Decisions on acceptance in this category are at the discretion of the principal. Any openings occurring after February 1st may be reserved for persons in this category.
5. Catholics unaffiliated with a parish or non-Catholics.

Waiting Lists

At the time of registration, waiting lists are compiled using the categories above. On February 1st all waiting lists expire. Families on the waiting list prior to February 1st cannot request notification of openings after February 1st. Openings after February 1st are offered to the families in “Category 4” at the discretion of the principal. The principal reserves the right to override these categories for special circumstances.

Admissions Screening

All vacancies may require screening/testing before formal acceptance. Students with identified special learning needs are enrolled with probationary status. If it is determined that St. Mary School cannot meet their academic needs, they will be asked to withdraw. Transfer students are admitted on a probationary status for the first trimester of their enrollment.
