Special Education

St. Mary Catholic Virtue School's Exceptional Student Services program includes comprehensive Special Education services. Our commitment to inclusion began decades ago with the creation of the Reading Resource department. Thanks to the dedication of our teachers, the program has evolved to support students with mild to moderate needs, and just in the past two years, has expanded to include students with more intensive needs.

As we focus on inclusion, we see that having students of varying abilities helps all grow in the virtues of humility, charity, and patience. Typically developing students are benefiting from inclusion at St. Mary by walking a path to sainthood alongside their peers with varying special needs.

Forever Friends

Forever Friends at St. Mary Catholic Virtual School fosters authentic friendships between children with and without special learning needs. Run by high school students, the program meets once a month focuses on Faith, Fellowship, and Fun, creating meaningful connections through carefully paired participants.

Fire Foundation Denver
